Two years ago, I went on holidays to France to see the castles of Loire. All these castles are next to the Loire river, and they are very beautiful.
Each castle had an ancient history that had happened in it long time ago.
These are the names of the most important castles:
Chambord (it is the greatest of all)
Cheverni (you can see it in a Tintin's comic)
Choumont
Amboase (here is where Leonardo Da Vince was buried)
Chemonau (it was built on a bridge)
Azay (surrounded by water)
D'use (the writer of Sleeping Beauty was inspired by it)
Saumur
Brisack (the highest in France)
